EDWARD TEDESCHI

After being born and raised in Paso Robles, Edward made the decision to move to Southern California to pursue a career in hair design. While enrolled in James Albert Cosmetology School, Edward was invited to London to attend Salon International where he experienced his first Vidal Sassoon show on stage. From that point he knew it was where he was meant to study.  Edward joined Sassoon Salon Costa Mesa as an apprentice in 2006, and upon qualifying as a stylist he relocated to the Sassoon in Boston. Spending three years in this salon, Edward quickly established himself as an “up and comer” in the city and went on to gain a loyal clientele and several press recognitions. Edward also focused on becoming a creative leader within Sassoon, and in 2009, he achieved this goal by earning the position of Assistant Creative Director. Then, in January 2011, Edward decided to return to California and re-joined Sassoon Salon Costa Mesa.  After two and a half years as Assistant Creative Director for Costa Mesa, Edward earned the Creative Director role in November 2013. In 2015 Edward attained the prestigious Creative Director of the Year award. After international travel, New York Fashion Week, hair shows, and mentoring future creatives developing the brand, Edward was promoted to Senior Creative Director in 2017. After the birth of his second child, Edward made the tough decision to leave Sassoon and move his family back to the Central Coast, landing at the Commons Salon. Edward is excited to bring his experience and craft back to his home town of Paso Robles.
